As a parent raising children with disabilities, I know firsthand the unique challenges that come with this journey. It’s a path that requires patience, strength, and resilience, but it can also feel isolating and overwhelming.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create resources and support specifically for parents like us. My goal is to offer a lifeline to Canadian families, particularly those in Nova Scotia, where access to tailored support and resources can sometimes be limited.
I want to ensure parents have a space where they feel seen, heard, and valued—because we all deserve to know we’re not alone in this journey.
This is just the beginning. In the future, I plan to expand my offerings to include U.S. resources, ensuring families across North America can benefit from this growing community.
Together, we can break down barriers, amplify voices, and create opportunities for every parent and child to thrive.
